Khushiyo Ka Ghar — A Home of Joy and Dignity

On 11th May 2025, We Can We Will Foundation achieved an important milestone with the inauguration of its old age home, lovingly named Khushiyo Ka Ghar. This initiative was created with the vision of providing senior citizens a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment where they can live with dignity, peace, and emotional security.

More than just a shelter, Khushiyo Ka Ghar was envisioned as a family-like space built on compassion, care, and belonging. The foundation believes that growing older should never mean losing one's sense of value, connection, or respect — and this home reflects exactly that belief.

Purpose and Vision

Khushiyo Ka Ghar was established to support elderly individuals who may be living alone, in need of regular care, or seeking companionship and emotional support. At WCWW, elder care is viewed as a responsibility toward every stage of life.

The goal is to create an environment where residents feel heard, respected, safe, and emotionally supported. The focus extends beyond accommodation — it aims to build a community filled with dignity, trust, and human connection.

Residents and Care

As of 31st December 2025, five residents call Khushiyo Ka Ghar their home. Each resident receives individualized attention based on their needs, including comfortable daily routines, nutritious meals, health and well-being support, and emotional companionship.

The atmosphere is intentionally calm and joyful, allowing residents to experience comfort and stability in their daily lives. Every individual is treated with the warmth and care they deserve.

Our Caregiving Team

The heart of Khushiyo Ka Ghar lies in the dedicated care provided by Kavita Ma'am and her team. Through warmth, patience, and commitment, the caregivers ensure that residents receive not only assistance but genuine affection and emotional reassurance.

Under her leadership, strong relationships are built with residents, individual needs are carefully understood, and a sense of family and belonging is nurtured. Daily conversations, shared activities, and meaningful interactions help reduce loneliness and strengthen emotional well-being.

Daily Life and Activities

Life at Khushiyo Ka Ghar is designed to promote both physical activity and mental happiness. Regular activities include indoor games, yoga sessions, relaxation and wellness activities, and social interaction and group engagement.

Special outings such as musical shows are also organized, allowing residents to relive joyful memories, experience art and music, and enjoy moments beyond routine life. These experiences encourage laughter, connection, and emotional fulfillment.
