Sameer Surve is an integral member of our We Can We Will Foundation, responsible for overseeing the accounts department. Drashti Nagrecha
Drashti brings empathy, energy, and insight to the We Can We Will Foundation. As a counsellor, she works closely with our children offering them a safe space to be heard, understood, and supported. In addition to one-on-one sessions, she plays a key role in planning and facilitating workshops that focus on emotional regulation, communication, and self-expression. Her approach is rooted in compassion and connection, and she believes that small conversations can lead to big changes. Drashti’s calm presence, creative methods, and commitment to every child’s mental well-being make her an integral part of our team.
Narayan Nair
Narayan plays a key role in nurturing the people who make the We Can We Will Foundation what it is. As the Head of Human Resources, he oversees internal communication, and the overall coordination of our growing team. With a deep understanding of people and a strong belief in purpose-driven work, Narayan ensures that everyone from long-term staff to volunteers feels valued, supported, and aligned with our mission. Simpal Yadav
Simpal’s journey with We Can We Will Foundation is a story of growth, dedication, and quiet leadership. She began as a science teacher, bringing curiosity and clarity into every classroom she entered. Her deep commitment to the students quickly stood out, and over time, she took on larger roles first as Education Coordinator and today, as our HSC Education Head. In her current role, Simpal oversees the academic progress and holistic development of our 11th and 12th grade students. She brings structure, care, and unwavering consistency to everything she does. She’s not just a teacher, she's a steady presence in the lives of many students navigating crucial years of their education.
Riya Mokani
Riya Mokani leads with compassion and coordination as the head of our Hunger Care program, a community-driven food initiative that ensures no one in our reach sleeps hungry. As the Food Lead, Riya oversees everything from meal planning and volunteer mobilization to distribution in government hospitals and underserved communities. She works closely with families who prepare home-cooked meals, making sure every bite served is full of dignity and care. Riya’s strength lies in her ability to bring people together with cooks, drivers, volunteers, and supporters and turn intention into action, one meal at a time. Her commitment to consistency, quality, and kindness makes her an essential part of our mission to fight hunger with humanity.
Gopal Mishra
Gopal’s journey with We Can We Will Foundation is one that comes full circle. Once a student at the foundation, he now plays a key leadership role as our Operations Manager ensuring the smooth, day-to-day functioning of our programs and spaces. With over 5 years of hands-on experience, Gopal is deeply familiar with every aspect of our work from managing logistics and coordinating teams to supporting volunteers and overseeing fieldwork. What sets him apart is his quiet accountability, sharp problem-solving, and deep-rooted understanding of the community we serve because he’s lived that journey himself. For our team, Gopal is not just an operations lead. He’s proof of what consistent support, opportunity, and belief can build.
